Carbon Fiber Touchscreen Cover FAQ
Q1. Can I install this myself? Do I need tools?
A1. Yes, installation is simple and tool-free. The cover includes pre-installed automotive-grade double-sided tape. Just clean the surface, align, and press firmly into place.
Q2. Will the adhesive damage the original trim if I remove it?
A2. No. The tape is strong enough to provide a secure hold but can be removed without damaging the factory trim when peeled off slowly using gentle heat if necessary.
Q3. Does this product match other Tesla carbon fiber accessories?
A3. Yes. The 1x1 plain weave pattern matches common aftermarket Tesla carbon fiber parts and blends well with OEM-style carbon fiber pieces.
Q4. Does direct sunlight or heat affect the carbon fiber or adhesive?
A4. The dry carbon fiber is coated with a UV-resistant glossy finish to prevent fading, yellowing, or warping. The adhesive is rated for automotive interior temperatures and will not melt or loosen under normal use.
